This Mindfulness Moment is the beginning of a weekly dose of conscious goodness for your mind, body and spirit! Each week will host a theme shedding light upon topics such as guided meditations, feel good exercises, life hacking tips and tricks etc!
The theme for this week is: Recognition
Coming into this new decade of 2020, a lot of us have resolutions on our mind! It is engrained in us that each year brings about a time for reflection on what we’d like to address in our lives whether that be internally or externally.
I am here to shed light upon the importance of taking a moment to sit with who you are and recognize where you are at. Resolutions are all about future goals and what we can do for ourselves in a later point in time, but what can you do for yourself now?
Give your Self the permission to recognize how you feel. And not how you think you SHOULD feel, but how you REALLY feel. Letting the voices of the outside world quiet for a second… what’s going on for you? While feeling what comes up, be gentle. Be gentle with your Self and what the moment brings forth.
It is so important to give ourselves the space and time, even just a minute, to gather our feelings and recognize what is going on within us.
It is okay 🙂
To help you further quiet the outside chatter and tune in to what’s happening within you, I have attached a short guided meditation that focuses on breathing to help you along with recognizing where you’re at.
This new year, be sure to take care of YOU in any way that you can because the most important relationship you’ll ever have is the relationship with your Self.
