WNYMMA offers you countless training options in one training community. And now we’re offering you TWO training locations!
In addition to our North Buffalo location at 255 Great Arrow Ave, you can now train at our beautiful Williamsville location in the Eastern Hills Mall.
We’ve gotten a lot of questions about the transition to two locations. So we’ve create this FAQ to bring you some answers!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: We love the family atmosphere at WNYMMA. Will that be changing with the new location opening up?
A: We love the family atmosphere too! With the new location, the family is just getting bigger. We still care about each and every member. The coaches are still here to help you with your personal goals. And we’re still going to be maintaining that fun family feeling.
Q: So, obvious question… more training options means more money, right? I love being a member but I want to know if my membership is going to go up because the second location.
A: Your membership cost is staying the same! You’ll have more training options for the exact same price you’re paying now.
Q: The Williamsville location is close to home and the North Buffalo location is close to work. Do I have to pick one location? Does it cost more to go to both?
A: Two locations = one price! Whether you’re an existing member or a new member, you’ll get both locations included in your membership for no extra charge. You’ve got unlimited access to both facilities.
Q: I have a friend who might sign up. Will the prices be going up for new members?
A: Nope! Same competitive pricing. Just an even greater value for your money.
Q: My kids love the coaches. Will we be seeing less of them because they’ll need to coach at two locations?
A: The Williamsville location has a fantastic coaching team already! So your favorite North Buffalo coaches will be staying at the North Buffalo location and you’ll have a whole new set of coaches over in Williamsville. This is the case for the kids classes and for the adult classes.
Q: We have specific testing requirements for BJJ. If we go to the Williamsville location will we be following the same curriculum?
A: Absolutely. We’re going to be transitioning in the standard Alliance curriculum. There will be set classes that follow the curriculum, and then others that complement the curriculum. It’s going to be the same structure that we have at the North Buffalo location.
Q: What’s offered at the new location?
A: Right now, WNYMMA Williamsville offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for adults and kids, as well as Muay Thai and Boxing. Over time we’ll build up the class offerings, just like we did at the North Buffalo location.
Q: A lot of this sounds good but I’m worried about parking and having to navigate the Eastern Hills Mall every time I want to go to class.
A: Never fear, there is ample parking and finding the gym is easier than you think. We recommend parking by the Duff’s entrance. (You can see Duff’s right from Transit.) Once you go in that entrance, you’ll make the first left (food court is to the right) and head down just a few store fronts. WNYMMA is on the right.
Q: The North Buffalo location is clean, big, and has a lot of equipment. What’s the Williamsville location like?
A: Great question! The new location is a 7,800 sq. foot space that’s brightly lit with high end grappling mats and heavy bags, as well as a raised boxing ring. It’s clean and modern. You’ll definitely like it.
Q: What does the schedule look like?
A: Because the timeline for purchasing the new gym was very fast, there are still some details that we’re working out, including the schedule. We will be posting very soon with an updated schedule for Williamsville. So keep your eye out for the updates!
